The SMLIGHT SMHUB Nano MG24 is a compact, Linux-based smart home hub designed for stable, cloud-free local control using onboard applications such as Zigbee2MQTT, Matterbridge, Mosquitto MQTT, Node-RED, WireGuard, and Tailscale. With its integrated EFR32MG24 radio, it manages Zigbee 3.0 and Thread networks and allows direct forwarding of Zigbee devices to Google Home or Apple Home via Zigbee2MQTT and Matterbridge, without any proprietary bridge.
The SMHUB Nano integrates seamlessly into existing smart home ecosystems. It can operate as a standalone controller, a Matter bridge, or a remote radio coordinator for Home Assistant, openHAB, HomeSeer, and other platforms. Wi-Fi 6 (2.4/5 GHz), 10/100 Ethernet, and USB-C connectivity ensure easy installation and reliable networking. An external Zigbee antenna provides extended range and improved signal quality.
This device is ideal for users who want to offload Zigbee and Thread services from a home server to improve stability and consolidate all functions into a small, silent, and expandable hub.
